A short, helpful introductory video by Dr. Borenson, the inventor of Hands-On Equations, assures young students that algebra is fun and easy to master.
The app enables the user to move the digital game pieces to set up and solve the algebraic equations just as they would with the actual physical pieces. The unknown x is represented by a blue pawn, while the constants are represented by numbered cubes. “Legal moves,” are used to simplify and solve the equations.
